Meet Mary MacGyver
Mary MacGyver is the owner of The MacGyver Group. A real estate professional for over five years, since moving to Albuquerque from Santa Fe in 2015. Mary is in the business of providing full-service brokerage. Recognized as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, Mary works primarily with sellers looking to re-size up or down. This warm, welcoming, and dedicated professional puts people at ease immediately, and helps guide them through their transactions with her sound market knowledge and guidance on everything from finding a mortgage broker to finding a moving company.
Today, at Realty One of New Mexico, Mary works one-on-one with buyers in finding their ideal home. She also provides exemplary full service to sellers, maximizing every sale with her impeccable marketing and negotiating skills. Her business model is built on the fact – that when people hire Mary – they get Mary exclusively. She does not have a large team, nor does she outsource showings, or marketing to assistants. She works with fewer buyers and sellers in an average year other than top real estate teams in order to be able to give each and every person she works with as much personalized service as possible – which has resulted in a solid track record of repeat business with many happy clients.
Highly intuitive, organized, and results-oriented, Mary has a strong background in marketing, negotiating, and interior design. A native of Los Angeles, she attended UCLA, where she earned her Certificate in Non-Profit Development and Fund-Raising. Thus resulting in a stellar twenty-year career as a Director of Program Services and Development Director for several large non-profits such as Make-A-Wish Foundation L.A., Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, New Directions for Veterans and The Henry Mancini Foundation. Her incomparable marketing, customer service, and organizational skills have been a great asset throughout her career as she honed them as a founding member of Jazzercise and Judi Missets’ company’s first publicists and fifth instructor. Born in Redondo Beach, California, Mary lived in Park City, Ut, Carlsbad, Ca, Santa Monica, CA, and West Los Angeles before moving to New Mexico in 2006.
A member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors, Mary is also a member of SAG/Aftra. Mary gives to her community by serving on The Adobe Theater’s Board of Directors and is a sustaining member of PBS. Enjoying life in Albuquerque is her daily routine, yet traveling to places far and wide is always appealing when time allows.
